Austin Ahlgren, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to delivering comprehensive, preventive, and patient-centered care.

Education & Training

Dr. Ahlgren completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in human biology. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He completed his family medicine residency at Corewell Health Troy Beaumont Hospital and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Clinical Interests & Approach

Dr. Ahlgren has a strong interest in preventive medicine, community-based care, and building long-term relationships with his patients. He provides comprehensive care for individuals of all ages, treating both acute and chronic conditions with an emphasis on early intervention, wellness, and continuity of care.
In addition to outpatient family medicine, Dr. Ahlgren has a particular interest in internal medicine and provides inpatient care at hospitals throughout the Rochester Hills area. He believes in shared decision-making and patient education, ensuring patients are empowered to take an active role in their healthcare journey.
