I recently had a small procedure to reduce my prostrate size, by an IR physician. The procedure uses an artery near your leg to gain access to the arteries for the prostrate. During the procedure there was some plaque knocked loose which traveled to the small arteries in my toes and cut off circulation. This meant 3 days in the hospital on blood thinners to try clearing the obstructions. At the hospital there seemed to be a communication issues between the vascular surgeon, emergency and the nurses. In frustration, I called Dr. John’s office to see if they could help. He indeed did and within a few hours, he had Dr Anita Kamath arrive, where she took over as the attending doctor and got things moving, cleared for me to return home, and made sure I had the proper medications. Dr. John then had a follow up with me in his office two days later and spent near an hour with me on this situation. He has stayed in touch with me since, even calling after hours to answer my questions on the prescribed medications. Dr. John is outstanding, as is Dr. Anita Kamath and the whole staff at Rochester Primary Care. I cannot give them enough praise and would recommend them to anyone seeking a new primary physician!
